Keep It Moving.....

Your growing body needs to move for many reasons:
Being active keeps your heart and lungs healthy & strong.
Movement that includes resistance will make your bones stronger like running, walking the dog, jumping, trampolining, or dancing. Now is the time to bank your bones!
During your teen years, your height and weight will fluctuate at different rates, the same applies to friends. Sometimes you'll be taller, and maybe you'll even be heavier = it's normal.
60 minutes of activity per day will keep strong and mobile while fighting obesity which will prevent heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Don't have time for 60 minutes? Break it down into 10 minutes moments. Climb the stairs, get the mail, walk the dog.... try to have those activities add up to 60 min.
- Another perk of activity, the sweaty glow from working hard is good for your skin.
